The Creations Art Program brings insight to God's word through the visual arts. God is the master creator and there is much to learn about creativity from Him!
The Creations Art program is developed and taught by Marilyn Anderson who herself is an established artist. Classes are casual and fun and are held in the Art classroom at the Church.
In the Creations Art program, you will create acrylic paintings that are founded in biblical themes or verses. While you learn the basics of color mixing, brushstrokes, and techniques, you will explore God's amazing word. Allow about two hours per session as your time will involve not only painting and some scripture discussion, but also we leave time for preparation of your canvas and palette, some easy step-by-step painting demonstrations to follow, and of course... final clean up. It is a wonderful time of coffee and fellowship. learning and creating!
Paint and supplies are provided and a donation is requested which helps toward the cost of paint and materials. All you have to bring is your enthusiasm and an old shirt or apron to wear over your clothing.
