Cathy and I met in 1972 and in July of 1973 we were married. I became a machinist and moved to the Duncan area on Vancouver Island where we lived for ten years. During this time, we had our daughter Lee and our son Owen. In 1984 I responded to God’s call and enrolled at Western Pentecostal Bible College where I received a Diploma in Pastoral Theology. After my graduation in 1987 we started pastoring a small church in Kimberley, BC. In 1992 we moved from there to start a church in Chase, BC. Then in 1997 we made the move from Chase to a multi-staff church in Kamloops where we stayed until January of 2006. At that time, we moved to Nanaimo to be on staff at Generations Church. Our next move brought us to pastor Cross Roads Pentecostal Assembly in Cache Creek in January of 2017. Cathy and I consider ourselves a team and have always worked closely together in the ministry.
Our children are both married, and we have four wonderful grandchildren. Cathy and I do just about everything together from ministry to leisure activities. We enjoy camping, canoeing, geocaching, and woodworking in our leisure time.
